Donation Needs

• Gifts to the General Fund provide a flexible resource to fill a wide variety of general school needs, beyond the funding the BCPS provides.  Monies in the general fund are used to provide grants and scholarships to students and faculty, fund parent committee events and activities, support academics, and ongoing professional development

Acting, Design & Production Prime

• Wireless microphones with head/ear pieces
• 21st century intelligent lighting sources
• Stage Combat rapiers/daggers for in-class weapons training and Shakespeare
• Yearly fund for a Master Stage combat Teacher to train senior acting students for Actor Combatant Certification
• Replacement chairs for studios

• Funding for robotic technology for programming and problem solving concepts

• Yearly funds to purchase consumable equipment that is used on a daily basis, such as lumber and grout
• Wet tile saws and tile tools, small hand tools and side cutters

• Appliances and miscellaneous cosmetology products

• Cutlery for the culinary kitchen
• Uniforms for Showcasing-Competition

• Supplemental funding for visiting guest artists and costumes

• Supplemental funding to publish the school newspaper and literary magazine
• Maintenance budget to update and replace computers and software for Literary Arts Program
• Long term support to expand the role of desk top publishing

• Steinway Concert Grand Piano for the Performance Hall
• Steinway Small Concert Grand Piano for the instructional space

• Supplemental funding for guest models program
